Dr Andrew J Buist (m)

MB ChB (Edinburgh) 1987 FRCGP DRCOG DCCH


Dr Buist is our senior partner. He joined the practice in 1993.
His clinical areas of interest are cardiology, dermatology. He also provides minor surgery services such as joint injections.
Since 2018 he has been the chair of the GP committee at BMA Scotland.
In his free time he enjoys cycling and football  – supporting Heart of Midlothian FC.

Dr Graeme A J Gatherer (m)

MB ChB (Dundee) 1999 MRCGP


Dr Gatherer has been with the practice since 2002 – initially as a GP registrar, then a salaried doctor and subsequently as a partner.
He has a clinical interest in Diabetes Care, and provides minor surgery services.
Dr Gatherer is a GP trainer and is involved in the medical education of GP registrars.
He is married with two children and enjoys climbing, ski mountaineering, hill running and biking. In his spare time he can usually be found up a mountain, at a race or cheering on Dundee United FC.

Dr Jennifer E Hartnett (f)

MB ChB (Dundee) 2004 MRCGP (2008) DFFP LoCIUT LoCSDI


Dr Hartnett started at Ardblair as a registrar in 2007, subsequently becoming a partner in 2009.
She is married with 2 Children.
In her spare time she is a keen white-water kayaker, and Scuba Diver.

Dr Jennifer Smith (f)

MB ChB (Dundee) 2005 MRCGP (2011) DRCOG (2009) 


Dr Smith joined as a partner in 2015.
She is a GP Trainer & Educational Supervisor.
She also has an interest in Women’s Health and can fit coils. In addition she carries out the Child Health Surveillance for new babies at the practice.
In her spare time she enjoys cycling, running and cooking.

Dr Benedict Tattersall (m)

MB ChB (Glasgow) 2010, MRCGP (2016), Bsc Hons. (Psychology)


Dr Tattersall joined the practice as a partner in 2017. His clinical areas of interest include diabetes, mental health, and general medicine. In his spare time he enjoys scuba diving, travelling, hillwalking, and playing guitar. 

Dr Nicola Henderson (f)

MB chB (Glasgow) 2005 MRCGP BSc Hons Pharmacology MRes Biomedical & Life Sciences


Dr Nicola Henderson qualified from University of Glasgow in 2005. She spent seven years working the West of Scotland within Urology Both as a Trainee then a Urology Speciality doctor running the Lithotripsy service, emergencies and a wide range of clinics at Glasgow Royal Infirmary.
She maintains a Specialist Interest in Urology as a member of the Primary Care Urology Society and talks regularly about Urological issues.
He other interests include showing her dogs across the UK, horse riding and music.
Dr Henderson became a GP Partner at Ardblair Medical Practice in Blairgowrie in 2017.
